I'm a skinny guy - I stand just a hair under 6' and weigh about 150. This has limited my concealment options in the past; I've tended towards belly band worn high under a loose shirt, or to an ankle rig inside my boots. But, now that I have the opportunity to wear a sport coat more frequently, I'm thinking shoulder rig is the way to go, especially since this will afford me the opportunity to carry my .45 on a more regular basis (I hope).
I'm reaching out, here, to any plain-clothes LEO or other Bullies that have good experience with shoulder holsters, to either dissuade me or convince me of the right gear.
I have 0 experience with shoulder rigs. I know there are multiple materials and gun orientations to consider. I know that I want to carry an extra clip or two. I think because of my small frame that I want a diagonal or vertical draw - the USP "Compact" is a pretty big gun. Beyond that, I'm lost.
Help?
