"God... he's unbeatable freakin' Bruce Lee of Mixed Martial Arts".
We're pretty sure Chris Weidman meant that Anderson Silva was the Bruce Lee of MMA, but putting Anderson Silva's 17 fight win streak to an end with a knockout was probably as much of a shock to him as it was to everyone watching the main event of UFC 162, so we won't give him too much of a hard time for it.
Silva spent the first round taunting Weidman, showboating for him to throw punches, and at one point even put his own back against the cage and invited the challenger in. Needless to say that his antics earned Silva a significant amount of instant karma, as evidenced by more than just the KO; while the crowd bood Weidman's entrance, they ended up booing Silva's post-fight interview.
After a minute or so of the same in the second round, Silva got clipped with a punch and then pretended to be going down to a KO. Weidman, undaunted by Silva's shenanigans, kept throwing punches and in short order Silva was no longer pretending.
