Hello Again,
I have a coworker who wants to get her son into FMA as part of his heritage education as well as introduction to athletics. Unfortunately he's 6 yo. I was able to find Bellevue Martial Arts, but they don't train anyone under 10.
I found a school that teaches "American Karate-Escrima" style, but from what I read online, it doesn't seem to be what she is looking for in terms of tradition or learning "something cool" about his culture/heritage.
One of the things I thought about (And please correct me if I am wrong) would be the over zealous lawsuits prevent kids hitting eachother with sticks, or is it more that there just isn't a market for children and FMA?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
