I don't know how bad it is to feel that there's no way out, but for f**k's sake, I know how bad it feels to think you could have done something more. If you see someone struggling, if you suspect someone's struggling, be the one who's there.
If you are struggling, put down the whatever and pick up the phone.
Here on Bullshido, I especially implore the combat veterans to hear and spread the word. I was lucky. I don't know anything about being in that kind of situation. I ask those that do to help each other out.
