- Lutte sénégalaise (Senegalese wrestling) is a national sport of Senegal traditionally performed by the Serer people. Unlike the larger West African wrestling tradition of Lutte Traditionnelle, the Senegalese style allows the use of blows with the hands (frappe). A victor is determined when one wrestler's head, back, or butt touches the ground from either a knockdown or punch.
